Learning to set boundaries is a very important part of growing up and maintaining your mental health, and this is a huge part of that. When I was dating in high school I gave exactly zero chances, and broke up with girls at the drop of a hat, but luckily I haven't had to do that in a long time.
I’m jealous I definitely was the opposite of that way especially in high school! That is impressive to have the self respect to give zero chances that’s definitely something i would like to work up to.
I'm not sure it was self-respect, more like teenage hormones and anger about feeling betrayed, hahaha. I caught a girlfriend messaging a dude on myspace? Gone! Another one asked if she could go to prom with another dude? See ya! Someone told me my girlfriend was sitting too close to another dude at a football game? Go F*** yourself!!
